Watchet Town Band

Watchet Town Band, ( sponsored by The Bell Inn), is the oldest Brass Band in West Somerset. A friendly, traditional style Brass Band.  First formed in 1893, and still making music in the community. Members vary from teenagers to pensioners, who all enjoy getting together to make music.  New players are always welcome, as are any holidaymakers that would like to come to rehearsals to listen, or to play.(We may have a spare instrument if you don't take yours on holiday). And we also run a Training Band.  The Band Room can be found in the Market Street Car Park, Watchet, Somerset. Practise nights are Wednesday and Friday from 7.30pm until 9.30pm in our Band Room. The Band is part financed by our generous sponsors, The Bell Inn, but is always seeking extra sponsorship and donations to assist with the running costs of the Band and upkeep of our own Band Room.  If you can help in any way, or would like to become a Friend of the Band, please contact David Tilley, via the Contact Us page.

To book the band for an engagement or to check availability, please contact the Band Secretary, David Wilkins, on 01984 633538. Giving details of date, time, location, venue, type of music preferred and arrangements for wet weather etc.
