Winsford Walled Garden
Winsford Walled Garden
This is no ordinary walled garden. Although the Victorian original was created in 1883 and included thirteen state-of-the-art greenhouses, it was left to deteriorate for almost 80 years before the arrival of the present owners in 1999. Their achievement is staggering. All the more so because everything has been completed by just three people. Two Victorian greenhouses built of teak have been restored. One of which is an example of the most advanced Victorian horticultural engineering in the world.
