Putsborough At the southern end of Woolacombe Sands is an award winning sandy beach manned with lifeguards. Ideal for surfing, swimming and water sports. There is a beach car park but access for wheelchairs is difficult. Toilets and snack bar.

The long sweeping sands of Putsborough are renowned for their cleanliness and beauty. It is very popular with families as it offers vast golden sands as well as plenty of rock pools to explore, ideal for children. This beach provides superb bathing and the rolling waves of the Atlantic makes this a surfers paradise.  There is a beach car park, toilets and snack bar. Windsurfs, canoes and a variety of other water sports available for hire. For a change of pace the tranquil unspoilt sands of Putsborough gently meander towards the more traditional seaside resort of Woolacombe with its many attractions.

Beach Type: Sandy - Dogs: Dog access restricted

Three miles of golden sands stretching north towards Woolacombe and Morte Point and south towards Baggy Point. This beach provides superb bathing on the Atlantic coast and there is excellent surfing situated within the two headlands.
