Puffins
Puffins
Best seen in the late Spring and Summer t he Puffin is easier to find than you may think. The Isles of Scilly, Portland, Lundy Island, Durlston Head, Mouls Island and Long Island provide excellent opportunities to see this iconic bird.

Puffin
Puffins are both the comical clowns and one of the most easily recognisable birds you are likely to see. With short wings, Puffins are as much at home under the water as in the air, and use their distinctive bills to catch Sand-eels and other small fish. Puffins nest on remote islands or sea cliffs, either in a burrow or crevice amongst the rocks. Their close relatives, Guillemots Razorbills, are usually found nearby.
