The Milky Way Adventure Park is a day in the country that is out of this world, with with major rides and six live shows each and every day. With an exciting mix of fun and education, there is something for everyone, from toddlers to teens, even the grown ups love it too! Where else can you get up close and personal with a bird of prey, lose yourself in a maze or take a trip that is out of this world, whatever the weather. Come and ride The Cosmic Typhoon, Devon's tallest, fastest and longest rollercoaster, if you dare! The Cosmic Typhoon is a brand new rollercoaster ride installed in 2007 - the height restriction is 1.2m, but don't worry there is another one for the smaller adventurers on the way, The Big Apple, height restriction of 0.8m - if all goes well it should be up and running for the start of the 2008 season. There is plenty to do even on rainy days, with indoor attractions ranging from alien adventures on the Clone Zone Ride to the fantastic Droid Destroyer Dodgems, not to mention the death defying slides and ball pools of the Time Warp, the North Coast's largest indoor play area. Young children are well catered for too at the Milky Way's Fantasy Farm, where the under 5s can enjoy their own ball pools, sand pits, play tractors and more.

For those who don't wear themselves out on the rides, there are plenty more activities to enjoy - golf, lazer target shooting and archery, or why not take in the beautiful surrounding countryside with a trip on the Milky Way Railway?
Prepare to be amazed at the Milky Way's North Devon Bird of Prey Centre. Twice daily shows, where some of the falcons can reach speeds of over 100 mph, are conducted by the Head Falconer, and the simulated night time environment of the indoor Owl Theatre enchants young and old alike.

There's more fun with animals at the Pet's Corner, where children can handle and feed a variety of furry friends, including baby lambs, goats and rabbits. Shows throughout the day, including the amazing 'flying' ferrets, give children the opportunity to learn more about the animals. So for a great day out with five major rides and six live shows and some of the biggest under cover facilities in the South West, the Milky Way is the place to be, and all the rides are free!
