Lynmouth Pavillion
Lynmouth Pavillion
The Lynmouth Pavilion was built by the Lynton and Lynmouth Urban District Council in 1931/32. It provides a very distinct facade to the sea front area and is recognised as being a building of importance to the history and character of Lynmouth. The first floor was originally used for a range of community activities and the ground floor was open and used for the storage of deckchairs in the summer and small boats during the winter. Despite regular investment in maintenance and repairs the condition of the Pavilion has deteriorated over the years and it is now in need of substantial renovation.

Lynmouth Pavillion
As the owner of the Pavilion, North Devon District Council is committed to finding a viable future for it and is working in partnership with the Lyn Community Development Trust, the Lynton and Lynmouth Town Council, and the Exmoor National Park Authority to explore options for its restoration and future use.
