Home L Lanacombe

Lanacombe is north of Simonsbath. Excavations in 2009 by the Universities of Leicester and Bristol focused on an area of moorland containing a number of groups of standing stones. Between the stones, and invisible on the surface, the excavations are uncovering evidence for a complex system of Bronze Age of fields and cairns including the remains of a burial cist.
