Culbone Way Cycle Route
Culbone Way Cycle Route
This challenging 43 mile with its spectacular views allows people to visit parts of Exmoor inaccessible by car. The Culbone Way Cycle Route runs from Minehead Station to Ilfracombe and is the first leg of the £9million 'Path to Prosperity' which will run from Minehead to Torbay. The new route is the result of a partnership between Exmoor National Park Authority and Devon and Somerset County Councils, and sponsored by the European Union and the South West Regional Development Agency.
An official opening of the route was held on Friday April 7th at 12noon at the Culbone Inn on the A39 road above Porlock.
