Badgers

Badgers are widespread throughout South West tgland and their setts can often be found in woodland or hedgerows near arable and open grassland. The best time to view them is shortly before dusk on short summer nights.

Observing Badgers in the wild as they forage, groom andd play can be a magical and rewarding experience. They live together in groups or clans, and may have several setts within their territory that they habit at various times of the year.

While watching for Badgers, you are also likely encounter other nocturnal animals such as Owls, Bats and Foxes.
