Bicknoller

With it's thatched inn and fine church at it's centre, Bicknoller nestles in the western flanks of the Quantocks just off the A358 near Williton on the lower western slopes of the Quantocks. Above village lies Trendle Ring, an iron age settlement. Part of church dates from 12th century, dominated by huge old yew tree in its grounds. Pub; community run shop.

Bicknoller

Bicknoller School

Bicknoller is a charming village close to the Quantock Hills. The parish church of St George dates from the 12th century and has interesting internal features. These include a Tudor carving on the chancel screen and a 15th century stone font. From the tower grotesque gargoyles protrude. In the churchyard there is a 1000 year old yew and the old village stocks.
