Bus routes on Exmoor

Why not leave the car behind for a day or two and take the bus to enjoy Exmoor? It's a great way to enjoy the scenery without the worry of driving and you can even enjoy a pint with your lunch in a local pub while reducing your carbon footprint at the same time.
From April 2010 a new website www. exploremoor.co.uk car free, care free' will list all bus routes across Exmoor and will have a range of car free itineraries ready to download and print plus an interactive map.

Service 300-Exmoor Coastal Link

Quantock Motor Services operate thi extremely scenic daily service, which links Minehead in Somerset to Lynmouth in Devon. The open-top double-decker bus runs through the Exmoor National Park taking you along some of the most beautiful coastline in the country. www.somerset.gov.uk/service300. A corresponding service is also available between lllfracombe and Lynmouth covering the North Devon coastline on Exmoor.

Service 400-Exmoor Explorer

Minehead - Minehead Heritage open-top bus. Hop on board, then step back in time, on this unique open top heritage bus, complete with conductor, which takes you on a 30 mile journey through the most beautiful scenery in Somerset. Service 401-Exmoor Link

This service links the north and south of Exmoor, running from Bampton to Lynmouth via Dulverton. The Service runs through the heart of the Exmoor National Park and some of the most beautiful scenery in Devon and Somerset. www.somerset.gov.uk/service401
